About the Book

What's the difference between a King and an Emperor Penguin? Are all penguins snowbound? Did you know that all penguins are naturally from the southern half of the world? This book contains answers to these questions and other fun facts along with full color photographs of all 17 species of penguins (and some of their predators). Meet the penguins of the world and learn how you can help save their habitat from destruction.

About the Author

A native Californian, Judy Wong is a single mother of three children, with a dream to see the world's 17 species of penguins in the wild. She embarked on this quest after seeing her first penguin in the wild, the rare Yellow-eyed penguin, while vacationing in New Zealand in 2000. By 2007, having traveled to all seven continents, her journey brought her full circle to New Zealand's Antipodes Islands where she saw the 17th penguin species, the Erect-crested penguin.
