About the Book

In the 24th century, Major Louis Donner is Commander of the United Star Cruiser Intrepid. While on mission in the Crown Point sector, he finds that his ship has become targeted by his own military. Unable to immediately solve the riddle of his new outlaw status, he tries to find the answers while evading his own forces. Purely by chance, it seems, he is reunited with his childhood pal, Ron McDonald.  After a 20 year absence, Ron suddenly appears in an enemy battle cruiser and doesn’t look a day older than he did the day he disappeared 20 long years ago. Donner discovers through Ron, that a race of flesh eating aliens called the Soltair, have been raiding small worlds and consuming the prisoners. It is only after key members of his staff are killed and devoured and yet others are abducted by this menace, that he’s able to ascertain the source of these beings and ultimately their leader, the emperor Emach.

Donner himself is abducted and is only then able to see the full scope of this fanatic’s plan of invasion and annihilation. Emach’s hatred of the human race in General, and its military leader, General Thomas McGee in particular, is the driving force behind his elaborate plan of revenge and devastation.

About the Author

Robert Louis Lehrman was born in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1950. He moved to Arizona in 1989 where he began his writing career, while also working as an emergency room nurse. He is passionate about his writing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and good food. He also enjoys music from the 60's and 70's. Carolyn is the love of his life, and together they live in Chandler, AZ. with Jeffrey their dog, as well as Baxter and Lexy their cats. Robert is currently working on a follow up novel and has completed three feature length movie screenplays.
