About the Book
Cyberrotica: Julie's Tale is a story that tells of the main character Julie. She is an attractive and well educated woman who becomes lonely and isolated and by chance turns to the internet in an attempt to alleviate her isolation.
Whilst using a chat room, she meets two characters who begin to play a substantial part in not only the cyber world, of the chat room, but spills into the psyche of her daily life. The male character starts to induce feelings in Julie where she accepts his invitation to begin a new life in America.
Whilst in America Julie is further initiated into believing she has made the right choice, and suspects nothing when she leaves for another country to begin her training. When Julie arrives in this new country, it soon becomes apparent that the life she was expecting to lead is far removed. Through the adversity, she becomes friends with Anna, a Swedish citizen who then accompanies Julie on the rest of the journey through the story.
The two women soon learn they have become a commodity that will be used in the world of commerce to enable lucrative business dealings for the clients of the organisation to which they now belong.
The story tells of their time in captivity where they learn more about the deception and where escape appears impossible but eventually there is the possibility of rescue.
About the Author
I live in Hertfordshire with my wife. We have two children and at present one grandchild. Until the mid 90's my career was in electronics until I suffered a breakdown through what can only be described as bullying at work. In an attempt to rebuild my life as a mature student I undertook an undergraduate degree in psychology achieving a 2:1 and then continued to complete a Masters degree in Health Psychology.
Just before submitting my dissertation for the Masters degree I was diagnosed with cancer which was a severe blow to my plans on building a future and it appears life since has been taking one step forward only to be met by having to take two back.
The story told in this book has had exceptional reviews by a sizeable demographic, comprising of readers in their late teens to octogenarians, who commented on the books relevance to the news we are hearing every day. Therefore I wished to bring it to the attention of a much wider readership as quickly as possible. I was heartened to learn of the philosophy of Trafford Publishing, "your book, your way". I strongly believe that in taking this route I will now only be stepping forward.
I trust you will find it as stimulating as those who have already explored the possibilities of what is a fictional perspective on our world today. I hope you as a reader will take the decision to purchase this title, but most importantly I would like to thank you for taking the time in reading this writer's ramblings.
