Three Journeys: ...two courses, one resolve

by Eli P. Pomerleau

160 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); catalogue #08-0389; ISBN 1-4251-7440-X; US$43.99, C$43.99, EUR30.05, £22.71

This is a story of rebuilding from brokenness and loss. For most, this can be a painful process of inner rehabilitation. For others, it's an adventure of a lifetime…

About the Book

After experiencing a trying and heart-wrenching divorce, the writer escapes it all for a boundless journey of renewal and self-examination across the globe. While reflecting on those difficult and painful events leading up to departure, the journey also delivers real-life people in unforgettable places. Either by thumb, motorbike, car or camel, his newfound uncompromising and strong-willed demeanor brings him through adventures and misadventures along the way. From encountering rootless souls on the road, shaking off the clingy company of an ex-girlfriend and the unfolding saga of his lost pair of traveling trousers, he continues the quest in seeking out his resolution.

Though, like a pursuing villain, a recurring dream of his past continues to haunt him along the way. Events continue to unfold while the dream does not cease to be disrupted before those demons can be dealt with. Eventually, his long and ambitious road finally leads him to China, where the long search comes to a close, and from where the story was being told at the very beginning – reflecting the very course the writer was meant to take a decade earlier
