About the Book

This book is a book of quotes, maxims, and inspirational statements from fathers. These statements encompass life, happiness, love, and gender. Well intertwined are illustrations that depict the meaning of the inspirational statements.

The idea for this book came upon the birth of yet another child in this circle of friends. Thus, we Co-Authored a children's book with the purpose of leaving something special for our children. This effort grew into a desire to leave something special for Fathers, Children, and the entire family. Our purpose is to encourage and support family principles. With that stated, a significant percentage of all proceeds will help us develop a scholarship fund, and will be donated to non-profits that support the principles outlined above.

The books purpose is three fold: 1) to inspire fathers, young and old, 2) to portray a father's love. 3) To promote family values and principles.

About the Authors and Illustrator

Christopher Evans, Dewon Chaney, Gyasi Chisley, Michael Hervey, Wesley Porter, and William Sellers met as undergraduate students at Morehouse College. Robert Lomax was a Georgia State University student at the same time. Since graduation they have continued to foster close professional and personal relationships. They are all successful professionals in various fields ranging from the medical/healthcare profession, entrepreneurial ventures, engineering, and military aviation. This book is a product of their numerous conversations about the challenges and joys of parenthood from a father's perspective.

Frances A. Gomez;

Arizona artist Frances Gomez is a Fine Artist and Illustrator. She studied Art at NMSU in Las Cruces, New Mexico. After moving to Phoenix she received a Visual Communication degree from Collins College. To further her interest in writing and illustrating children’s books, she studied Writing for Children and Teenagers from the Institute of Children’s Literature. She has done extensive commissioned fine art jobs and murals. She says “It has been a great experience and journey working on the illustrations for Daddy Loves You.
