Loretta Scott, M.A. in Education, is a certified Life Coach (specializing in business and career advancement coaching) and an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor. As a spiritual healer, Loretta has trained groups in consciousness-raising concerning the paradigm shifts from military to environmental and peace. Worldwide, from Brazil (Earth Summit Eco'92) to China (UN Fourth World Women's Conference'95), she has worked to raise the status of women and children.
Dr. Patricia Rife develops courses on topics ranging from "Sources of Conflict: An Ethical Approach" to "Biographies of Peace Leaders" and her latest "Conflict Resolution and Negotiation Skills for Managers". She is a skilled instructional designer for the University of Maryland University College Graduate School of Management & Technology in the Washington DC. area. She was a Professor in the Matsunaga Institute for Peace, University of Hawaii system for 5 years. Dr. Rife has conducted historical research at the Max-Planck-Institute in Berlin; the Nobel Prize archives in Stockholm; the University of California-Berkeley History of Science program; Princeton and Harvard University archives. She has delivered public lectures on peace and the Nuclear Age at the Carter Center, Atlanta; Goethe Institute, San Francisco; Technion University, Israel; Boston University's Physics Department and the American University of Cairo. As a global catalyst for peace, Dr. Rife's lifelong focus has been empowering groups to create constructive social change and creative modes of effective social action.
