About the Author

Rod McKinnis is a celebrated Keynote Speaker and Sales Coach.  Rising from the south side of Chicago to the boardrooms of Fortune Global 500 Companies, Rod has formulated an effective system to selling that is rooted in sound research and principle.  He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Eastern Illinois University and served as a Macroeconomics instructor at the University of Colorado.

Rod’s sales career began at age seven when he opened his first lemonade stand. By age 30 he was the youngest Officer of the 5th largest bank in North America.  He is also recognized for his work at TD Waterhouse, where he helped convert a multi-million dollar reactive sales organization into a billion dollar sales force. 

As Founder of the McKinnis Consulting Group, Rod now teaches his proven approach to sales around the globe.  Rod offers powerful lessons to help sales professionals at all levels to achieve more rewarding and sustainable results. 

A perpetual student of Sales and Leadership, Rod is dedicated to supporting the development of others. He lives in Chandler, Arizona, with his college sweetheart and wife of 14 years and their two boys.
