About the Book

The Spaces Within is a book which contains a large quantity of binary rhythms, each eight beats long, expressed in a graphic format accesible to all musicians. About the Author

Born in the Canary Islands, Armando holds a Film Scoring degree as well as a minor in Percussion from Berklee College of Music and a Master in Composition from New England Conservatory (Boston).

Aside from having written many works including music for theatre, ballet, television, documentaries, etc., he has published “La Batería Básica” and is the author of many other titles including games and other didactical material mainly for the younger drummers.

He now lives in Barcelona with his wife and daughter.
