We're Moving!

Thank-you for choosing Trafford to publish your book.

Over the upcoming weekend of October 13-14, Trafford Publishing will be completing a major move of its facilities to a larger, more modern building that will, for the first time in many years, allow our North American division to operate under one roof.

The printing wing of our business completed its move back in August, and now it is time for the administrative and production sides of the business to follow suit. Over the past two months, many have been working behind the scenes to complete renovations and ensure that the necessary infrastructure is in place. This upcoming move will include the author support, prepress, marketing, accounting and order departments.

While we are optimistic there will be no major disruption to our service, we realize it may take a few extra days to get our phone and fax lines up to full capacity, as well as our email and web services. Please bear with us during these few days it will take our communications to be re-established while our staff settle into their new home.

Any assistance you can provide Trafford from the 12th to the 15th, such as postponing non-emergency correspondence until later in the week will be greatly appreciated. There may be a few days after the 15th during which our communications are not quite at full capacity. We thank you for your patience during this time.

This move will provide authors with several advantages: a larger print shop which will provide faster turnaround times, even better quality books and, soon, a wider variety of products. The new facility gives us the room and capacity to increase the support staff for our authors and being under one roof will substantially improve internal communications, reducing errors and delays, and significantly decrease internal transit time, allowing everything from revisions to shipping to be done more quickly and accurately.
