Dr. Wright L. Lassiter, Jr. is a noted higher education administrator, distinguished public servant, widely acclaimed public speaker, Ordained Baptist minister, distinguished university professor, and a much in demand teacher and mentor. He currently serves as the Chancellor of the seven-college Dallas County Community College District. Wright L. Lassiter, III is the son of Dr. Lassiter. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, California. He is a nationally recognized hospital administrator serving in leadership roles at the state and national levels. He is a mentor in the Minority Achievers Program in Northern California.
