About the Book

One of the most adorable gifts a child (or adult) can receive at Christmas time is a snow globe. Join a young boy named Ryan as he is magically sucked into a snow globe that was given to him by a stranger on Christmas Eve. In the beginning of the story, Ryan is upset because he feels he is not allowed to get any Christmas gifts by his mother. He then secretly receives a snow globe that sucks him into the city of Snowville. Once in Snowville, Ryan has the time of his life – he eats when he wants to, sleeps when he wants to, and plays when he wants to. Even though Ryan has big fun in the snow globe, he soon learns things that make him realize that the most important gift of all during Christmas is being at home with your family. This is the first story in the Snow Globe Adventures book series emphasizing adventure, fun, learning and inspiration.

About the Author

Robert Bettis was born in Prichard, Alabama and presently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clark Atlanta University and an MBA in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University, and has been working in the information technology field for the past 25 years. In his spare time, Robert is a mentor to many young kids as a baseball coach, a basketball coach, and a volunteer reading and math tutor. He and his wife Pamela, are also busy raising a teen-aged daughter Kionna, an eleven year old son Marquiss, and a six year old son Micah. In keeping true to his mission of teaching children of all ages to be all that they can be in life, Robert created the Snow Globe Adventures book series after he was inspired by his six year old son's imaginative questions about what life is like in a snow globe. Robert believes that every home throughout the world contains at least one precious snow globe, and his goal is to place a book next to each snow globe that is fun, adventurous, educational and inspirational to children of all ages as well as their parents.
