GOLDEN YEARS - Grandmothers & Grandfathers of the HAIDA

Come with me and look into my window of the past, and walk with me over my grandmother land, the Haida Gwaii (island of the people), when she was in her golden youth.

Greet all my people and be a part for a time as we walk through the glorious pages of my grandmothers (nunai's) and my grandfathers (chnai's) wonderful life.

I was born and raised in Haida Skidegate village and love the homeland of the ancient and present HAIDA with no plans to leave ever. I grew up in close constant contact with the magnificant and ancient HAIDA stories of various magnitudes. I always had the sense of one foot in the past and one foot in the future.
