About the Book

The evolutionary history of an individual soul is commonly pictured as colorful pearls threaded together on a single string.

Pearls...the fruit of difficulties encountered and lived with. A single string, but formed of varied themes woven together--separate strands carried toward through time, intertwining to give continuity to the many-faceted richness of our human experience.

Pearls such as these develop slowly through layers of complex dramas--each a fresh opportunity arising out of the shadows of our merciful forgetting--each building upon a blend of predisposition, of consequences and of choice--each theme a testament of our growth, a continuing parable in its own right.

About the Author

Della Gardella is a housewife who has lived in New Mexico for most of her life. She is a senior citizen and a widow. She lives, together with her young granddaughter, a few miles outside of Albuquerque.
