Terrorists and spies infiltrate Luke's ordinary teenage life as he is drawn into a fanatical plot to kill the heir to Britain's throne and blow up one of Sydney's greatest icons.

When Luke volunteered as an announcer on a community radio show he could never have known he world become part of events that could destroy his whole way of life.

Terrorist or freedom fighters? Is the media a pawn or a player in the game of international politics? Luke discovers things are not always black and white as he struggles to work out which side is right.

The twists and turns in this story, as Luke discovers there is always a bigger picture than you can see at the time, lead him into a web of espionage while he struggles to come to terms with his anger and adolescence.

Steve Ahern has worked in radio most of his life, as a broadcaster, producer and manager. He teaches radio skills at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, and has consulted on radio training around the world.

Steve is the author of the text book Making Radio and writes regularly on media issues. During his career he worked in community radio stations just like the one written about in this book. He also once worked for the British Consulate.
