When debut screenwriter Heath Jones decided to produce a movie, these were questions that he'd simply never asked himself, after all there were books on making independent films that could help, right? He had also previously served in the British armed forces, spent years as a Financial Adviser and acquired a Masters Degree in Film History...so how could he possibly fail?

Little did he know of just how deceitful and mendacious, movie people could be; sinister industry sharks and vultures with just one goal in mind...to eat his lunch!

With a fledgling new script, no contacts, no experience and given no chance, Jones took on the 'movers & shakers' and won, completing his first ever film on a seven figure budget while still managing to keep a significant creative and financial interest in it....and you can do it too.

You only ever have one 'first time' so How To Produce Your First Movie: Without Losing the Shirt off your Back is a book no first time movie producer should be without!

The Author served six years in The Royal Air Force in the 1980s before building a successful financial services business during the early 90s. Heath returned to full time education in 1997 where he read for a combined studies degree at The University of Warwick and followed on to take a post graduate degree at The University of Birmingham. Heath then emigrated to the United States in July 2001, after getting married in Las Vegas earlier that year but was forced to return to the UK following a 'mix up' with immigration. It was during the flight home that Heath, while laid up in Detroit, had the idea for a screenplay which he then spent the next four years developing into the full feature film which was completed in 2007. Today, Heath divides his time between London and Miami and is currently busy writing and packaging new projects for development during 2008.
