Under the bush they saw a large tail sticking out. Bibole yelled out, Pounce we see you! Come on out! It's time for dinner. I'm not coming out!!! just leave me alone! Bibole and his friends didn't understand what was going on. Why won't you come out? Because Mom and Dad are going to kill me! Bibole and his friends assured Pounce nothing like that would happen. Marsell the skunk looked at Pounce and said... you know your a lion right? You also know your parents are mice too, right? I know!!! And they're going to kill me!!! Well what did you do? All the animals were very curious. Then Pounce told them of the horrible thing he did. Pounce told them how he was minding his own business, when the black birds came to make trouble. Pounce went on to say, I was asleep, I got scared when they flew on me. the next thing I know, I'm doing something really bad!!! Bibole and all the animals were shocked. You need to tell Mom and Dad what happened. I'm dead!!! I'm dead!!! Stop saying that!!! Bibole yelled out! Mom and Dad would be more upset if you didn't come home, or if you lied to them. When we get home, remember, tell the truth! As they got home, Michelle and Rivol were standing by the door, arms crossed, toes tapping. Where have you been young man? Don't you know your Father and I were worried sick about you?

About the Author
Brian Fujikawa was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a young man, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he joined the Carpenter’s Union and helped build twenty-three of the most beautiful casinos in the world. When his daughter was born, Fujikawa started creating stories for his daughter. As she grew, his daughter, Daisy K, convinced her father to share these wonderful stories with others. He now has a large collection of stories that he hopes you enjoy as much as he and his family do. As Fujikawa writes these stories, his hope is to bring fun and a little adventure into every family’s life.
