About the Book

God's Promises for the Family Circle is a collection of inspirational poems, fun-filled word search puzzles, and a wealth of Bible-based food for the soul. Contained in this book are blessings for our everyday life that we can apply. It depicts some time shared with my family that may also apply to your family's situations and challenges and how we can overcome. The subtitles of each section, Encouragement; Prayer Time and Bible Word Search; Family Circle; and last but not least, Lord Speak to me, lets us know that there is something for everyone inside these pages for both the young and old. It gives insight about God's Word and promises for our lives and food for thought that we can relate to our lives and see a positive outcome out of some of our negative situations. It includes prayers that we can speak over ourselves, family, and situations that will lift and build us up. And best of all, it gives us an opportunity to spend time with God and in His presence.

About the Author

Marionette Simmons, a Bermudian born native and author of “Life’s Challenges, Experiences and Blessings” has now ventured further into the deep and has been blessed to share with you her second book which you now hold in your hand “God’s Promises for the Family Circle”. It seems that this average girl with ordinary dreams has learned that with God the ordinary becomes extraordinary when you place everything in his hands and that there is nothing average about God’s people. She continues to enjoy writing and to have opportunities to bless someone with her words of wisdom and experience fed to her through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, God’s Word and her life’s lessons. Her aims and endeavors are to put God first, her loving daughter next and all else just falls into place which allows her to also work, sing and embark on her latest venture the production of her very first full scale gospel CD which she hopes to release later this year 2015. Writing is still very much a passion of Marionette. Stand in agreement in prayer for more inspired words from her to encourage someone on their life’s journey and to have her as an avenue for you to spend time in the presence of God. Marionette has dedicated many years to writing and has been inspired by many of life’s experiences, expressions, travels and family. Having been encouraged by the many contemporaries who share her Father and Mother’s Day poems each year, Marionette decided to step out of her comfort zone again and publish book number two, and also enter the recording world in her soon to be released CD.
