About the Book

Scientists discover their planet, Eden, is going to be consumed by a supernova. The Council of Twelve Tribes decides to build thirteen ships to carry a select group of people from impending doom, while a small force of elite soldiers searches the galaxy for a planet. Ten thousand people from each of the twelve tribes are selected and placed in suspended animation; the Best and the Brightest, according to a study of their DNA profiles. The tribes of Eden sleep in the ships as their best space explorers desperately search the galaxy for a planet in which to begin life again. Corruption interferes with their plans and three tribes decide to leave the convoy and try their luck alone.

About the Author

R. E. Kelly was born and raised in Mexico, at the tender age of 15 he was imported into the U.S. where he settled and raised children. He is a Road Scholar; he went to the school of Hard Knocks for three decades, (slow learner) certainly not a Yale or Stanford degreed scholar or an actual Rhodes Scholar. He is the father of seven human beings, five men and two of the prettiest ladies on the face of the earth, and has written all his life. This is his first venture into writing publicly. Self-promotion is not his best skill, as you can tell from this awkward biographical statement. Books seem to flow from his overactive mind, perhaps a reaction to his solitary working environment over those three decades working in the communications field. Writing is something that has always come naturally as a release and, until recently, had been a private haven. Friends asked him what he wrote about, and before long, he was being asked when his stories would be published. With the encouragement of friends and family he has parked his very private persona and began this adventure into the literary world at the end of his sixth decade on earth.
