One of the women communicating with spirits is Mary, the mother of translator Nick Mezins. She invites others to join her group, and its members consider why the universe was created, what is the role of man on Earth, whether there is life on other planets, and other essential issues. About the Author

Nick Mezins, a native of Riga, Latvia, immigrated to the United States in 1950. A licensed professional engineer, he served in the Army for eleven years, including three years in Vietnam. He retired as a lieutenant colonel of engineers from the Army Reserve and as an engineer with the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory.
