What is Love? Is it a word without zest; or a labyrinth, or a lacerating emotion? Simply deep affection or fondness for each other. Love feels like trampling on morning dew On the lush green grass With our naked feet, Feeling the emotion cast out Like waves soaked at the margins of the sea. Looks like a sprinting cheetah Hunting with an exhilarated heart; Smells like roses cross-pollinated with violet flowers From the courts of Aphrodite herself. Tastes like sweet honey Marvelously derived from the beehive; Sounds like jingling church bells, Filling every moment with adoration.

Ronal Reddy knows life is like a book. All the chapters are milestones, the words are deeds, and the more we read it, the more it makes sense. With that in mind, Reddy shares his first collection of poetry that offers his poignant reflections on nature, love, and everything in between.
Inspired by people in his life, Reddy explores all the things that matter most, questions the meaning of life and love, and wonders about tomorrow’s outcome. Within free verse that flows easily from one topic to the next, Reddy revisits his dreams, ponders the beauty of nightfall, and opens his heart to forgiveness. From the howls of the raging oceans to the comforts of faith to the love of family, Reddy ultimately finds answers, peace, and healing.

About the Author
Ronal Reddy has enjoyed writing poetry since high school. He has an interest in Shakespearean literature and currently majors in Social Science. Ronal lives with his extended family in Auckland, New Zealand.
