A Mouse in the House

About the Book

Helping children cope with such simple everyday occurrences as finding a mouse in the house. Things that we as adults take for granted. This being the case for my own granddaughter, now it has become a funny happy memory for her. Also the Color Me pages help children to continue to be able to enjoy their books long after they have that urge to take the crayon to them. I seem to remember my little ones coloring in every single one of their books. Making it almost impossible to read them again, even their favorite ones always brought tears.

About the Author

As a child, I lived on a nineteenth-century family farm near Port Hope, Ontario, Canada. It was there, while attending a one-room public school, that my interest in writing first began. Although nursing was my chosen career, I continued to write. I read all the very same stories to my grandchildren I read to my son. After all these years, there seems to be no generation gap in the joy they bring. This gave me the idea and courage to publish my work. It will also allow other children to enjoy and share part of our family tradition, those precious, dear bedtime stories and cuddles we never forget.
