An eBook is a completely electronic version of a published book that can be downloaded to a single laptop or desktop computer or other digital device, such as a handheld PDA. Trafford will publish your book in this digitized format, enabling it to reach more customers than ever.
Trafford will format and submit your ePub file for the Amazon Kindle, Sony® Reader, Google Editions (coming soon), Barnes & Noble nookTM, Kobo Books, Scribd.com and iBookstore* , which is available on the iPhone and iPad application.
Please note:
- ePub files cannot be created from PDFs. To create a market-ready ePub file, Trafford must have the source file in a Microsoft Word or Adobe InDesign file.
- Trafford will make every reasonable effort to make the formatting of the ePub edition reflect the format of the print edition; however, some design elements are not supported in the ePub format. Trafford is not responsible for making changes to the design of the ePub edition.
- The file size of a color book is too large to be placed in the eBook format. Therefore, Trafford can only publish black and white books in the eBook format.
- You can purchase this service by selecting one of the publishing packages that includes it. This service is not available as an add-on to other packages or for previously published books.
Disclaimer: Press Ready Files, color books, or designed interior file sizes larger than 10 MB are ineligible for this service.
*Apple reserves the right to accept or deny content for availability on the iBookstore.
