About the Author

Don Black is a well-known resident of Crystal Beach, Texas, on the Gulf of Mexico. He served in WWII and was a pipe-fitter most of his life, working in various cities throughout the US. He is active in the Eagles and has served numerous terms as president of the Crystal Beach Aerie. For many years, he owned and operated the only lumber yard at "the beach."
