About the Book

Henry Belk, alias Henry Scott, was a handsome scoundrel who made his way in life by fleecing rich women. He would go to great lengths to assure his success. He was careful, smart and conniving.

After one such very profitable venture, he decided that a Mississippi River vacation on the River Queen, the biggest paddlewheel boat on the river, might be just the romantic place to meet his next mark. He made careful plans and thought he had covered every situation. However he hadn't planned on meeting the beautiful Paula Murphy. He found himself falling in love and it confused him.

Paula, herself was a driven woman with her own agenda. She was forced by her boyfriend Bret Tyron onto the River Queen to get any rich man into a compromising position for blackmailing. She too became bitten by the love bug and forced to make painful decisions.
