About the Book
A story of a hobo mouse that lived more than one hundred years ago and his journey on a famous Christmas Eve. A detour in his destination put him in a home where he wasn't supposed to be and where he went unnoticed by its occupants.
The magic of this special Christmas Eve would be one he would never forget and a surprise for all who learn of his story.
Children's book reviewer Jennifer LB Leese highly recommends A MAGICAL CHRISTMAS EVE FOR JO-JO THE HOBO MOUSE giving it 4 stars out of 5.
"Told in rhyme," she writes, "A MAGICAL CHRISTMAS EVE FOR JO-JO THE HOBO MOUSE is a delightful Christmas story about a little traveling mouse named Jo-Jo.
"A MAGICAL CHRISTMAS EVE FOR JO-JO THE HOBO MOUSE isn't a story full of hair-raising horror, or life-threatening danger, but it is a story full of Christmas cheer, and magical moments. This book is sure to be a new holiday favorite for many little folks and their families. Jo-Jo is a famous mouse who goes down in history as one of the creatures who wasn't stirring in Clement Clarke Moore's "'Twas the Night Before Christmas."
"This reviewer believes that John O'Neill has written a festive book for children that flows well, stirs the imagination, and is easy-to-read. It has adorable hand drawn illustrations that will make the reader smile. The cheery drawings work well with the whimsical text. "
