Questions:

The streets of the city, like always at this time, were almost a desert. Few people were walking around or talking. He arrived at his parking spot, stopped the car and moved towards his classroom. For a moment he felt that someone was looking at him. Turning around he again saw that old man in the car park. The man was looking at him with the same smile.

He was surprised, what does he want from me? Why is he always smiling?

He begins to move towards him to clear things up, what is the problem?

But the old man was not there anymore. For a second, John was shocked, blocked.

John thought: some thing is wrong with me today. I don't know maybe I need some vacation or more rest. He shakes his head and very soon forgets all about it and starts thinking about his lessons for today. He takes the stairs to reach his classroom; he always likes to take the stairs instead of the elevator. He opens the door and enters the class. All the students are chatting; as soon as they see him they go to their seats.

He checks what the last topic they discussed was and what should be done this time. He started with a discussion on "universe". He started: last time we talked about our existence, and that this universe is made of four elements, time-space-material-and energy. Material and energy cannot be created or destroyed; the amount of these two in the universe is constant. Material, time, space and energy are the bases of this universe and you cannot be separated from them, not for even one moment. If you try to separate anything or even yourself from each of these four elements, you cannot exist in this universe anymore. Even if you can make your body fly, you're still in direct contact with all four elements; you cannot separate your physical body from these elements. In this universe these four are the rulers. The only thing, which can go out and comes back in this universe, is imagination. As you know there are no limits to it. It can go wherever it wants to. It can make or destroy anything. It can touch the ceiling of the infinities. It can make Gods. So this is the only element, which can be separated from this universe. The most important discussion, as I see it, is infinity. It's the concept that only the imagination can understand. It can go to infinity and come back before you even feel it.

Jorge, who was one of the best students, asked him:

-Is it true that this universe isn't an infinite universe?

-According to our imagination that's true. There are some theories, which believe and discuss that anything, which exists, has a certain time and certain space. So the base of these theories on our universe is a limited universe and is not infinite. It says that our universe is getting older and older, like us. So there are some limits for it also.

-Martin asked him: if it's so, this universe should be inside another thing, like any object, right?

-I don't know, it is possible, but this is a subject that philosophy should answer. Through scientific studies we can explain it but these things always remain in the world of the imagination. Only by philosophy we can explain something and sometimes but there is not so much to answer all the questions. As you know the philosophical discussions are hard to understand and harder to believe.

John after some seconds continued to speak: you should always remember the concept of infinity, which is one of the most important subjects in philosophy and mathematics, which only with our intelligence can we understand. We cannot prove it; we can only accept it or reject it. This is completely an abstract subject. When we use our logic system we cannot reject it but in reality we cannot accept it. This is the problem. Which one of you uses some concept of infinity in his or her Life? We say OK, when it comes to logic or discussions but in reality no one, I insist no one uses this concept in real Life. Many people have very bad feelings when it comes to philosophy or when you talk about the imagination. They think it's only words and talking and doesn't have anything to do with real Life. It's only a concern for intellectuals. Real Life is another thing. They make a big mistake, because many subjects in our Life were first solved through philosophy, which has a very strong link to the imagination, and then after years and years it becomes our reality. So we should not think that philosophy is just words, it has a big responsibility in our Life.
