About the Author and Illustrator

Ana Monnar is married to Octavio Monnar. They both were blessed with three children, Alberto, Anna and Alexander. The children also have a big sister named Alina.. Mrs. Monnar has her hands full by raising the three children by herself, due to her husband suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The family adopted Lulu, the star Yorkie from YTMAR, a wonderful rescue group. Sunny, a Yellow Nape has been with the family for 17 years.

Mrs. Monnar has been teaching for over 20 years. She is currently teaching fourth grade. Mrs. Monnar earned a Masters in Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Florida International University. This is Ana Monnar's fourth book. The first three are titled, Half Full, Or Half Empty? A Collection of Poems, Poetry from Planet Earth and Adoption? Thank God for That Option!

About the Illustrator

Ada Rodriguez de Ocampo is married to Javier Ocampo. They were blessed with two children, Natalie and Felipe. The family adopted their dog Diddy. Mrs. Rodriguez de Ocampo is a very nice, sweet, quiet and kind person.

Mrs. de Ocampo has been teaching kindergarten for a couple decades. She was the kindergarten teacher for Mrs. Monnar's youngest son Alex. Art is a form of enjoyment and relaxation for Mrs. Rodriguez de Ocampo. She loves working with pastels the best.
