About the Book

Paige's Book of Fishes and Whales is a simple story of a river's journey from the mountains into the deep sea and all the fishes (and a few whales) that occur along the way. It teaches ecology from a simple perspective and has a helpful fish identification guide at the end to help readers (or listeners) learn the names of a few fresh and saltwater fish.

About the Author

Bryce L. Meyer has a long background on and in the waters and in fishing, and has a lifelong obsession with fishes and the oceans. He has advanced degrees in Engineering, is working on another one in Biology. He also has experience and training as a teacher, and greatly enjoys teaching fishing to his 2yr old niece and Goddaughter Paige, to whom his second book is dedicated.
