I have long dreamed of doing something valuable, something that
could make others’ lives better, healthier, more meaningful, and more
self-aware. I have dreamed of encouraging these people to follow their
dreams and aspirations, of helping them realize that all of us can work
true miracles and become the makers of our lives, if we only convince
ourselves that this is possible. As of late, this dream has become the
focus of my whole life. To my friends and family, I have become a
“dream teacher.” I am always willing to share my knowledge and
experience, and I do so happily and lovingly. I know this may help
others to understand the power of their own thoughts, to hear the
voice of their hearts, to pursue their personal goals, and to improve
their lives. Until recently, however, it never would have crossed my
mind that I would write a book with the same aim in mind.
I think having the idea to write a book was a miracle in its own
right, and it came as a surprise, even to me. Quite simply, one day I
realized I wanted to write about my dreams and my journey toward
them. I wanted to share the diffi culties that lay in store for me when
I set out, the twists and turns I had to take, the oases of tranquility I
encountered along the way, the mirages I saw, my personal discoveries
and joys, and the unexpected obstacles and challenges. Most

important, I want to write about the great purpose that I discovered
and my love and devotion to the path that is leading me toward my
greatest goal.
I am glad that the journey has only just begun. After I started
to travel down this path, I grew to love the path itself. I came to
understand that it was the process of walking—the journey itself—
that makes me happy. I walk on with an ever-growing enthusiasm,
dreaming about that which waits for me at the end of the road. I am
followed by a group of like-minded people, dreamers just like me.
I am still far from the destination, but I am certain that I will
continue walking with love, determination, courage, and will. I will
walk on, no matter what happens along the way or which obstacles I
might encounter. Perhaps my progress will be hampered by inner and
outer “storms,” but I am sure that my journey will continue. I will never
lose the burning desire to attain my goal or the unbreakable conviction
that I am worthy of my aspirations. I will never lose my patience, my
strong will, my sense of inner peace, my love and dedication to my
goal, or the joy I fi nd in the smallest of accomplishments, each of
which brings me closer to the fi nal destination of my journey—my
dream of dreams.
Whenever I think about my goal, my heart beats faster. I enjoy
each waking moment, each new day, and each personal achievement,
however small. My goal is like a guiding star; it inspires me and leads
me down this long and winding road. It is as if a friend were holding
me by the hand, guiding me toward greater happiness, success, joy,
love, inner peace, and wisdom.
I have decided to write about my dreams and the anticipation I
felt as I waited for them to come true. I want to share the frustration
and disillusionment of failure and the joy of success, the roads I have
wandered along, and the dead ends I have stumbled into. I want to
describe my achievements and inner revelations, the most important of
which has been the discovery of the miraculous nature of my own being.
It was through refl ecting on my desires that I knew myself, and it
is only by sharing my experience that I can inspire you to follow your

own dreams. By writing a book about my mistakes and placing them
under public scrutiny, I hope I can help you understand some mistakes
of your own.
As you read about my personal dream experiences, you may fi nd
the answers to many of your questions about conscious dreaming. I’ve
also included plenty of “sample dreams” that you may want to try out
in practice. Th is book can be rightly called A Dreamer’s Primer.
You may already be familiar with much of what you will read; you
may have heard or read it somewhere before, but has that knowledge
been of any use to you? Did it make you feel self-actualized, happy,
wealthy, successful, healthy, loved, or recognized by others? Have
you used the tools for building a happy life that are supplied by
your surroundings? Most important, have your dreams come true?
Knowledge without practical implementation is worthless. Knowledge
will be transformed only after it has been put to practical use.
I am proud to declare that I am a great and passionate dreamer—a
dreamer who does not merely dream but also acts and who is utterly
convinced that her dreams will come true. My motto is, “Dream,
believe, and act!” I would like to wish the same to you, my readers.
I am just an ordinary woman who has no special talents. I am
not unique in any sense, and I am not particularly intelligent. One
day, however, I realized I no longer wanted to “fl oat downstream.” I
discovered my true essence and made up my mind to live it out. I
discovered the purpose of my life and started to take decisive steps
toward it. I simply have a lot of enthusiasm for my dreams, and I
sincerely believe that they will come true. My enthusiasm and joy
knows no bounds, and I would like to share that with others. I love life
and am thankful to be who I am.
I never blindly follow instructions, teachings, or theories, and I
don’t advocate any specifi c teaching or school of thought. Everything
you will read in this book has been compiled from various sources.
I tried to fi nd a practical application for most of the theories and
techniques I have learned. Th is enabled me to see what does or does
not work and where I may or may not make mistakes.

I am well aware of how much time, will, and patience is required
to make one’s dreams a reality—it is a long, complex, and arduous
exercise in self-improvement that demands much eff ort and much
responsibility. But then, self-improvement is vital; it is a valuable
investment in one’s own being and in one’s future.
I believe dreams do come true, and I would like you to believe the
same. If I can do this, so can you!
Even though you may be a beginner in the art of dreaming, I
hope to show you that strong faith combined with practical action
can change your life. I want you to understand the diff erence between
conscious and subconscious dreaming—conscious dreaming is a useful
practice. I hope you are inspired to write the script of your own life.
Love yourself, love the people around you, love life itself, and enjoy
every single moment of that life. Be grateful for all that is within you
and outside you, and wait for a miracle. Miracles are real; all you have
to do is believe and notice them when they happen.
Best of luck in following your own personal path toward your
dreams.
