About the Book

A collection of short disastrous dating stories attained from friends who often required multiple shots to drag the humiliating story out of them, leading to more shots and snorts of laughter. All stories are real and meant to encourage those in the dating scene who are still searching for the right one to keep pressing on, find humor in their dating experiences, and to know that they are not the only ones who have good dates gone bad!

About the Author

Lee Valentina, also known as Nancy Whitfield of Tallahassee, Florida, was initially intrigued with writing when she kept sharing her own dating stories with friends, who ended up coming back with worse experiences. Feeling like the rest of the world was missing out on a good laugh, she felt compelled to write down these stories, in hopes to clear her own mind of clutter and to free herself from past humiliations of things she couldn’t change. There just wasn’t a large-enough sheet to cover her head sometimes, so she put it all in this book. She comes from a background of fashion and art, both from studies at Florida State University and family members involved in the arts. The combination of living in hot spots like Atlanta and other popular US cities offered her the opportunity of meeting all walks of life to truly experience the dating scene. Nancy was determined to press on with her writing, even when filled with self-doubt and bad breakups of her own. This book represents both a sense of accomplishment and success at doing what she loves and loving what she does with intense passion. She hopes the reader may appreciate the humor behind every story and that lessons may be learned to avoid the mishaps and disasters those involved shared. No shirt or shoes required, but alcohol may enhance your experience. Enjoy!
