Reverend Shaw, under the same divine inspiration that prompted him to write this book, has made revisions and amendments to correct the flaws, errors, and interpolations that are in today's Bible, as Reverend Shaw has pointed out in this book. Reverend Shaw has made these same amendments in today's Bible as inspired by God's Holy Spirit. About the Author

Reverend Shaw prefers to remain in the background at this time, because of potential backlash from the opinions expressed in this book. He has already received threats for his beliefs. All that will be said here about the author is the following general overview. Reverend Shaw was born a Christian (Catholic). Twenty years ago he had a Spiritual Awakening and became a Saved (Born Again) Sanctified, filled with the Holy Spirit, and remains so to this day. In his book, Reverend Shaw purposely didn't name the various Bible Colleges that he graduated from during the past dozen years, because due to the tone and content of his book, he didn't want to cast aspersion on any of them. Reverend Shaw is retired. Upon waking at 4 a.m. (without an alarm clock) he spends his first hour of every day in prayer and meditation with God, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, 365 days a year. He says he has to put on THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD (Ephesians 6:10-18) before the commotion of the day begins. Then throughout the day until bedtime, he touches base with God through short prayers and thanksgiving. He calls them his continuing "popcorn" prayers with God. For the past twenty years Reverend Shaw has been a single, non-smoker and non-drinker. For his leisure time activities, Reverend Shaw enjoys swimming, stamp collecting, photography, hand-tooling and dyeing his own leather belts and wallets, reading, gardening, bird watching, painting, bee-keeping, doing crossword puzzles and anagrams, and taking walks. Besides God's Grace, Reverend Shaw attributes his 170 cholesterol and 120/80 blood pressure to being a partial vegetarian (except for fish and fowl). Being retired, Reverend Shaw is finally able to devote his time to pursuing his life-long dream of slowly and meticulously organizing, developing, and writing this book and other books in the privacy and solitude of his own retreat. It's sad to say, but Dr. Shaw has received death threats from individuals. This is somewhat similar to the death threats that Salman Rushdie received for his book Satanic Verses, about the Islamic Koran. Therefore, Dr. Shaw has taken all the necessary steps not to be accessible to the public, where a Christian fanatic from the far right-wing conservative lunatic fringe (the type that shoot abortion doctors and bomb and burn abortion clinics) will be able to have access to Dr. Shaw. There will not be a picture of Dr. Shaw in this book or any of his forthcoming books.
