Cryogenic Freezing Manual is a useful tool to the plant engineer or plant manager who is studying the cryogenic freezing process to either run the in plant Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) freezers or is in the process of acquiring such equipment. Enough theory is included to understand how cryogenic freezing functions and how it differs from conventional Ammonia or Freon freezing.


About the Author

Cornelis J.F.Elenbaas was born in 1940 and immigrated to the United States from Holland in 1997. He grew up in Zwolle, Holland where he finished high school and finished his education from the Dutch Merchant Marine Academy with a major in mechanical engineering. After a seven year period in the Dutch Merchant Marine he immigrated to Chicago, IL where he worked for a firm involved in the manufacture and marketing of industrial gases. A five year transfer to Europe as the international manager for cryogenic applications broadened his knowledge of cryogenics and the global importance of that technology for many industries. Following his return to the US he has held the position of Director of Cryogenic applications for 13 years. He is now retired and is finally enjoying his three daughters and five grand children.
