"CHOSEN"

When the Lord calls or chooses us for his purpose we feel that we are ready to go forth in our calling at that particular time. However, that is rarely the case. We must all go through a preparation period. Although the Lord has a plan and purpose for all of his people, unless we go though a training period, we will not be able to handle the situations that arise as we work in our ministries. We must go through our own training period – the test that we face in life in relation to our heart, character, and Jesus’ Lordship in our lives – in order to walk in the calling that God has for us. The Lord must take us through a process in order to align our way of thinking with His. As the Word says, “let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5). Rejection, lack of self confidence, self limitation, and impatience are only a few of the issues that the Lord must address in order to participate in His Kingdom building. The purpose of this book is to help you understand that no matter what you have gone through in the past or must face in the future, the Word of God states that he will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) He will be by your side during your wilderness experience. Like Jesus, our Heavenly Father wants to bring us forth in the power of His Spirit. Jesus had to go through a wilderness experience before He went into His earthly ministry. You can rest assured that when your training is complete you will be well prepared to go forth to fulfill your purpose, in the power and the anointing of God.
