About the Book

A charming children's story which focuses on the unlikely bond forged by two very different creatures. Transported from her natural habitat to a zoo, "Gabriella" the Gorilla adapts well to captivity. Often making buffoonery with visitors, she comes to usually enjoy her days. However, occasionally she longs for the life of a carnival performer like her friend "George." On one such a day, Gabriella finds herself lost in thought when she hears a very feeble sound nearby. Picking up the source of the noise, Gabriella discovers she has inadvertently sat upon a piece of cheese which was to be the lunch of a mouse named "Molly." Having never made the acquaintance of such a critter, Gabriella is quite fascinated! The two make fast friends and their adventures begin.
