About the Author

My name is Judyann Elizabeth Bean. In my earlier years, I attended Heron Bay Elementary School and Sandy's Secondary Sight School. i started writing at the age of twelve, and at the age of fourteen, a few of my poems were published in the talent section of The Bermuda Sun. I was then known as Judyann Green.

Having a tendency to be a loving and emotional person, and not knowing how to express myself, were some of the first reasons that started me in writing. I was greatly encouraged by my Headmaster Mr. Mansfield Brock, whose motto was "Never say 'I can't'". My mother, Mrs. Joan Cann, has always believed in my writing talent, and she has been a great inspiration to me.

At the age of 28, I had the opportunity to publish my first book, Life's Changes, which was a great success!

In 1990, I attended the APA Poetry Contest in New Orleans, Louisiana. It gave me the opportunity to meet poets from all over the world.

In 1991, I published my second book, The Best of My Life, which was also very successful.

Now, at the height of my writing career, I bring to you As Time Goes On, which is dedicated to my eight beautiful children, to whom I quote my own words,
