Future Sister's Woman describes women creating a world where they can express their understanding of the meaning of life. Women are seeking greater interpretation. Women's bodies are celebrated not only for their ability to give birth but also for their vision. The body is the source of all creative powers in the universe and includes the web of friends.
Friendship is an emerging postmodern transformation, resisting the idea that women are forever alone. The power of female friendship is both magic and medicine; what women feel, they can say, what they say, they can manifest. Moving mountains is what happens when women look at other women. When they see each other as they really are, they put the world in perspective and it no longer remains what it was.
