About the Book

This is a book of lyrical poems for the "curious child" in all of us. It is a book that needs to be read aloud to children asking questions about the world that surrounds us. What actually does happen to the birds when they fly away...Where do all those clouds go when they drift afar...What about all those bugs, hurrying and scurrying into cracks and crevasses...what about those waves in the ocean???

These poems are written in a child's language and are lyrical when read aloud. The subjects are intended to spur pure curiosity to the listener and promote thought, wonder, and, very important, observation. These are poems that promote dialogue between the reader and the child -- I can't think of anything more important than dialogue between a parent (guardian) and child, teacher and child, or reader and child. The subjects are some of the innocent things that a child is introduced to in life: clouds, bugs, waves, rainbows, raindrops, wind, the sun and the moon.

In a world of so much complexity and bombardment of information, Where does it Go? is an innocent look at the world and its questions through a child's eyes (our eyes, as well).
