About the Book

The book was originally written for my Children and Grandchildren. It was to offer advice, and help develop their outlook on life generally. Using the Alphabet positively with words significant to the challenges in family life and, also to have some thoughts on the have-nots in the World around us.

The Alphabet as we know it as A, B, C, has a wealth of words formed that we use in the day to day communication with each other, starting and ending with each Alphabet. The simplicity was to use familiar words that each and every one of us understand and to make a point of showing their significance and the important part they play in our lives.

About the Author

Born in Bombay, India in a Royal Naval Hospital to parents who at the time were both military personnel. Dad was a Staff Sergeant, and Mum was a Royal Navy Signals Officer. Spent sixteen and a half years at school and college achieving a Secondary School Certificate, and the last six months at college. Emigrated to England in 1962 and started working for a firm of engineers, eventually learning a trade and becoming a toolmaker.

Joined a National Airline where for the past thirty-four years has worked in several departments of the cargo division. Working for an Airline had opened up horizons and has taken the family around the world. The added benefits of being able to travel has helped to appreciate what we as a nation really have right here in England.

Hobbies enjoyed in the little spare time are, Family, Writing, Cricket, Music, and of course Golf on Sunday mornings with the family.

My biggest achievement was gaining a Certificate in Management Studies with Brooks University Oxford. Achieved this at age fifty and truly believe that anyone can achieve the same and more if they choose. Right here, right now is where the buck stops with you, as you go through life "Adversity is merely an opportunity with an equal or larger benefit"

When I wrote this book I truly had my Children, Grandchildren, and you in mind. You see I have now come to believe that anyone no matter who they are or where they come from can achieve greatness in their lifetime. This book is meant to nudge you along if not drag you to realise your true worth.
