About the Author

Shaunelle Curry is a teacher through to her bones. Whether in the classroom or in the community, this Masters level educator gives herself in service to a high calling. Her passion is helping others heal, grow and develop beyond their perceived limitations.

After college, Shaunelle expanded her work with youth and community by teaching in the classroom in one of the top school districts in St. Louis, Missouri. For the past nine years, Shaunelle has served as program facilitator for various youth and community development organizations. Some of her work has included leading youth in creative dramatics, verbal communication skill development, cultural awareness activities and leadership development.

Shaunelle Curry is the creator and co-facilitator of The Butterfly Garden Project, a women's wellness initiative that offers workshops, seminars and retreats designed to assist women in maintaining optimal emotional and physical health.
