About the Book

This book is an autobiography about the life and work of Ronald Stanislaus. It talks about the time from his birth until his death. He explains about his life before he became a Christian, and then his life and his walk with God after he became a Christian. He also talks about the struggles he had in his life, and how God always saw him and his family through those hard times. It tells about times when he was really close to God, and also times when he was not so close to God, especially when his wife died and all of the trials he was dealing with at that time of his life. Mostly, he tries to show us how to deal with struggles and still find the good in life with the Lord's help.

About the Author

Ronald Stanislaus was a retired Social Worker and a bi-vocational minister. He was a graduate of Southwest Baptist University at Bolivar, MO. He worked for 33 years for the Missouri Division of Family Services and also pastured small Baptist Churches in Missouri for over 40 years. His career was cut short by an infection following knee surgery and he became disabled. He spent most of his days in a wheelchair and at his computer. He was married to Genevieve (Jennie) Seaton for 44 years and they had three children; Rose, Patricia and Timothy. Tim was killed in a car accident in 1980 and Jennie passed away in 1996 after suffering a stroke. Ron begun his writing after his disability and this book is the fourth and last book he wrote before his death in June of 2007. He had the process of publishing this book started when he died, and the two girls finished editing and getting it published in his memory.
