About the Author

I am a Coal miner’s daughter and was raised to believe that my role in life was to get married and have children and to spend my life taking care of my children. I am a mother of six wonderful children, all of whom have done well in spite of the limited knowledge and ability in my early years of mothering. When I was 35 years old andcould not speak up for one of my children at school and went away feeling totally helpless and worthless. I knew then that I had to do something to improve my confidence and assertiveness.

Since that time I have studied many different personal development books and program, I have qualified as an NLP practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and I am building a business helping mothers to be the best they can be.

The reason I chose mothers as my target market is because that is what I know best and have experience in. Also I see children who desperately need mothers who are more self aware and positive. A mother is a tremendous example to a child and I wanted to make a difference not only to mothers but to their children as well.

My desire is to make a difference to the world by making a difference to the hands that rule the world as they rock the cradle.
