About the Author

Cheryl and Les Larcom live in Ferndale Wa. Together they've raised five children to become fine honest productive adults. For a large part of this success Cheryl credits her habit of weaving tales that teach. This is a Swedish child rearing tool passed down to Cheryl from her maternal ancestresses. Character building treasures are skillfully concealed in her stories. Grand Daddy Apple is an entertaining example.
