About the Book

This is a recipe book of the dishes served for breakfast at the Stone Canyon Inn. It also includes a few short stories of humorous people and events at the Inn.

About the Author

Dixie is the mother of 5 children and has 18 grandchildren. She and her husband raised their children in Salt Lake City. While raising her children, she loved skiing, biking long distances, rappelling into slot canyons, backpacking into remote areas and doing anything adventurous with them. She and her children discovered the fun of exploring the canyons of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument long before it was a monument. Now the Stone Canyon Inn is the favorite vacation destination for all of her children and grandchildren. She has always been an entertainer and loves people. Her passion is to make sure all her guests are well fed and have an adventure planned for the day!
