Have you seen my duck? I went down to the pond to look for my duck I looked all around without any luck He normally stays by that bunch of tan reeds That’s where he swims and that’s where he feeds. He likes to eat bread that I throw his way I make sure I get here most every day I sit on the bank and call out his name Then he’ll swim over; it’s our little game. But on this trip down to the water I didn’t see my duck; only an otter So I asked the otter if he would know In what direction did my duck go? The otter didn’t speak but pointed his tall Over to a rock and there sat a snail I walked to the rock and bent down low And then asked the snail ever so slow.
