About the Book

Rusty, the traveling terrier tour guide, has written his 4th travel book about his adventures in Tennessee. He is all set to travel when he injures his eye. He’s off to the canine eye specialist, who puts a contact lens in his eye and outfits him with an Elizabethan Collar. He’s determined not to let anything get in the way of his trip. Soon it’s off through Virginia where he swims in the 2nd oldest river on earth. He heads to the Smoky Mountains, where he explores old homesites in the three thousand acre museum called Cades Cove. Exploring the Gatlinburg area, he walks on scenic trails, meets friendly admirers (including a canine whom he tries to follow over huge boulders), swims in crystal clear streams, and tiptoes around myriads of butterflies. Waterfalls abound in a side trip to North Carolina. Visits to the Devil’s Courthouse, Graveland Falls, and the Blue Ridge Mountains will delight his readers.
