About the Author

I feel that people, mostly children, will find this book enticing because it entertains the notion that when a person is giving and generally wants to be helpful to those in need, he/she can lift up the person who needs help so that that person can ultimately become a better, more healthy, and well person. This book basically implies that at times when a person truly needs help, another person sometimes has to go against other more well trodden methods and simply give all of themselves—even against the “sound” advice of others. Taken a step further, it gives light to the notion that joy is nothing and useless if not shared with others, along with our very lives as well. We must share our abilities and knowledge with others because they may be able to contribute more than we ourselves can, and so they must come out of their places of sadness and destructiveness so as to likewise be giving.
