“What in the world is wrong with you girl? Have you lost your brain?” That would be my granny, Lord she really believes we witches are not suppose to mingle with Christian folks, as she would say. And surely, don’t ever become one of them! My mother, well she has been a good witch all her life and that’s all she knows. She believes the power she uses is sacred.
I guess I will have to keep this wonderful news to myself for a few days, at least until I can find a way to break it to them gently. I just don’t know when and how to do that.
The Holy Spirit and Angel of Mercy understood what Rachel was up against even if she didn’t. Knowing she needed strength and encouragement the Holy Spirit spoke to Rachel’s heart encouraging her too pray feverishly now!
Rachel’s heart responded, “Father God, I don’t understand why, but I’m frightened. The very thought of going home scares me. I feel like a stranger in familiar surroundings. I look around and things seem the same, but somehow they are different. Please Lord, tell me what I should do, protect me from... Wait a minute, who am I afraid of?”
At that very moment, a soothing love song came on the radio and distracted Rachel. It tore at her heartstrings and took her back to a special time when Phillip first kissed her. Her mind became dreamy as she listened to the sweet love tune. Her heart went sailing on a ride of lust and desire. All thoughts of prayers were lost, as she gave into the forbidden trap.

Shadows of repulsive images moaned and screamed, shattering the deadly silence. The feeling of defeat ripped at them and they were drunk with vicious vengeance. These disembodied slaves of darkness were delirious and irrational in their scheming. This foul erosion exploded within the walls of this house, causing a decaying, sickening, deadly smell to swarm over this God forsaken territory. In the demolished space of darkness, it reeked of infestation demonic activity. These evil images lurked around in the darkness waiting, waiting, waiting for her.

Just a few blocks from home Rachel almost missed the stop sign. She abruptly slammed on her brakes and came to a screeching halt. Her heart palpitated unsteadily while her breathing became labored. New fear took hold of her soul as cold sweat formed on her forehead.
“What is wrong with me for god’s sake I’m going home. Why do I feel this horrible twisting in my gut? Lord, my stomach feels nuisance like I’m going to throw up.”
Rachel moved her seat back bend over and put her head between her legs. The thought came to her mind; ‘maybe I’m just too hungry’.
“Yes, a full stomach is what I need.” She whispered.
She put the seat back into its’ customary position, and after starting the car hastily it became very hot and stuffy inside like an oven was turned on high. She rolled her window down to grab some fresh air, when something grabbed at her instead. In an instant, abnormal fingers flew inside squeezing the last full breath unsuspectingly from her lungs.
Rachel wheezed, choking, her body thrust forward so terrified with fear her foot unintentionally hit the accelerator hard. At a high rate of speed a large black cat came running across the street in front of her. The cat stopped for a brief moment staring at Rachel with glassy raging angry eyes. Something in those gruesome eyes alarmed her, she tried too late to swirl out of its’ way hitting the animal with violent force. Its’ body bounced into the air and flew into her windshield, blood spattering on her windows before the dead thing fell to the ground. The evil screams as it flew out from the dead cat’s body melting within the street before her eyes.
“OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT? She screamed. Rachel rode over the dead animal trying to escape, completely losing control of her car.
Tearing down the street at a reckless high speed with some malice evil strapped around her neck, her car headed into the opposite lane on the far side of the road. Rachel tried to catch her breath and dodge the oncoming traffic. A blue utility truck coming straight at her caused her to swirl right just in the nick of time.
A young man in the utility truck shouted loud profanity. He stuck out his finger in a swear sign; balls his up fist in anger shaking it at her. Rachel shouted out the window, “I’m SORRY sir I didn’t mean too…PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME, I CANNOT STOP!”
His look told her ‘go to hell.’ Her car hastens past him racing down bumpy roads at a reckless speed. She hits the brakes as hard as she could as she tries to avoid more oncoming traffic. To no avail it was as if this automobile had a mind of its’ own; nothing seem to work. She swipes an oncoming gold Lexus with an older man inside, as she continues flying through the streets. The frighten man pulls over to the curb trimming.
Totally frightened, Rachel continues to bump over uneven pavement violently rocking back and forth down another steep street after another. She almost collides with a red new Chevy carrying a young mother with two small children. Rachel swirled sharp just before a deadly impact.
Rachel’s heart was beating so fast she knew if this keep up she would surely die! At the top of her lungs she screamed, “PLEASE JESUS GIVE ME THE STRENGH TO STOP THIS CRAZY CAR!”
