DRESSINGS HOMEMADE SALAD DRESSING 1/3 cup cider vinegar 1/3 cup sugar 13 cup oil Mix sugar and vinegar until sugar dissolves. Stir in oil Refrigerate, and shake before using. FRENCH DRESSING 1/2 cup ketchup ½ cup corn oil 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 2 or 3 teaspoons powdered sugar 1 clove garlic split 1/4 teaspoon salt Dash of black pepper Combine ingredients in a jar. Cover and shake very well. Chill. Remove garlic. Shake again before using. FRENCH DRESSING 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons paprika ¾ cup ketchup 1 teaspoon diced garlic ½ cup cider vinegar 1 graded very fine onion 1 cup vegetable oil 2 teaspoon salt Mix in blender and keep in refrigerator

A few borrowed recipes throughout the year, but 99 percent are made from scratch as the recipe was being created. Some are dedicated to the one that enjoyed it the most.
About the Author
I have cooked for over fifty years. I experimented with foods while raising my children. When a dish I prepared satisfied my children’s taste buds, I kept it and started a recipe file. I now have enough that I have compiled them in a book.
This book is dedicated to my children, Mariann, Kenny, Robert, and Sharity. I live at the same address I did while raising my family. I am now a widow, having lost my husband in 2003.
