About the Book

It is Freddy Frog’s birthday, but it looks as if no one has remembered! He goes off in a huff, feeling sorry for himself. Hailey Hedgehog suddenly remembers it is Freddy’s birthday and rushes to get help from her friends. They all remember the presents they gave him the year before that might not have been the best for a frog. Now they need to think of something for him for this year, but what?

About the Author

Ree Gillett is a storyteller, songwriter, and puppeteer. She lives in Spain very near the sea, and every once in a while, a hedgehog wanders through her garden. She grew up in New England, and when she was little, she used to catch frogs and feed the wild birds and chipmunks. Now she visits schools and libraries around the world with her puppets, stories, and songs.
