About the Book

The book contains a number of laboratory exercises in Astronomy along with appropriate data tables and charts. The manual leads students through various topics, like constellations, measures in Astronomy, coordinate systems, cosmic objects and their characteristics, elements of cosmology and others. It’s designed for College and High School students as well as first years of University students, where Astronomy is discussed on the introductory and intermediate level. It can be also used by individuals who are interested in practical aspects of Astronomy. The manual is accompanied by the supplement in which methods of respective exercises’ solution and solutions themselves, are presented.

About the Author

Dr. Adrian Kaminski has been graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University, earning the MSc. in Physics in 2003, then, he proceeded further scientific work on Molecular Physics and Chemistry, accomplished in 2011, the PhD in Physical Sciences degree getting. Dr. A.Kamiski has been the Physics, Astronomy, Math and Chemistry teacher for 20 years, dealing with College, University and High School students. Currently, he works at Grand Canyon University, Phoenix College and IVY Tech College as Physics/Astronomy/Chemistry teacher/instructor.
